Our uPVC Tilt-and-Turn black windows use unique technology to reduce the absorption of solar heat by the window. The window is made by applying special lamination to standard white uPVC frame. The lamination actually consists of two layers: exterior black layer (matte, gloss, or wood grain imitation), and special heat reflective layer underneath. This reflective layer is “the special sauce”: it keeps the window frame much cooler by reflecting back much of the solar heat. As a result, the window looks elegantly black while dramatically reducing the heat transfer into the house.

Our laminations are made by industry leader Continental and are designed for extreme conditions.  In addition to the visible and heat reflective layer, the lamination surface also features 60 μm thick acrylic layer with outstanding UV-protection characteristics which minimizes long term fading.
